Of bright straw color, it offers aromas of white-fleshed fruit and citrus, with light floral notes and a subtle mineral hint that supports the whole. On the palate it is fresh and well-built, with lively acidity and medium body: the fruit is backed by a saline thread that provides persistence without weighing it down. The style is elegant and restrained, aimed at those seeking a versatile, quality white.

Winery history

Trained as an architect, Elena Walch raised the international profile of her family estate by modernising vineyard and cellar practices and emphasising single-vineyard expression. In recent years leadership has been progressively assumed by her daughters Julia and Karoline (fifth generation).

Production philosophy

Strongly terroir-driven approach: emphasis on single 'Vigna' sites, manual vineyard work, sustainability-oriented practices and careful cellar ageing (e.g. French barriques and extended bottle ageing).
