The Collio Sauvignon DOC from Vigna del Lauro is a white wine of great expression, perfectly embodying the winemaking tradition of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. This winery, known for its passion and dedication to perfecting every detail, has created a wine with a distinctive and vibrant personality.

The Sauvignon Blanc, a grape variety of French origin, finds in the Collio terroir an ideal environment to express all its potential. The unique microclimate of the area, characterized by warm days and cool nights, helps to develop a rich and complex aromatic profile in the wine. The soil, made up of marl and sandstone, imparts a distinctive minerality to the wine, highlighted by a palpable freshness.

Visually, the Collio Sauvignon DOC from Vigna del Lauro presents itself with a straw yellow color tending towards green. On the nose, it seduces with intense notes of tropical fruits, passion fruit, and melon, masterfully integrated with hints of aromatic herbs such as sage and green pepper. This bouquet is the result of careful winemaking and a brief maturation in steel, preserving the varietal characteristics of the grape.

On the palate, the wine shows a balanced and harmonious structure. The acidity is well integrated, driving a remarkable taste persistence that invites another sip. The fruity sensations blend with a delicate minerality that cleanses the palate, making this Sauvignon particularly suitable for pairing with raw or lightly cooked fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses.

In conclusion, the Collio Sauvignon DOC from Vigna del Lauro is an excellent expression of how nature, the climate, and the winemaker's hand can combine to produce a wine that not only narrates its territory of origin but also offers a complete and satisfying sensory experience.
