Pairing Aperitifs, appetizers, fish
Cuvee Ginevra di Cortenera is an extra brut sparkling wine made by the classic method, presenting fine bubbles and an elegant texture. On the nose it offers notes of fresh yeast and bread crust accompanied by unobtrusive citrus hints, green apple and white flowers; the profile remains clear and clean, without aromatic excesses. The palate is dry, dominated by a well-balanced acidic tension and a sapidity that supports the body, making the wine balanced and easy-drinking: the finish is pleasant, with light echoes of dried fruit and a closing note that invites a second glass.

It works well as a refined aperitif but also stands up to more structured pairings: seafood starters, shellfish, sushi or fresh cheeses highlight its freshness, while oven-baked fish dishes or dishes with light sauces find a good companion in its character. Serve chilled, in glasses that showcase the bubbles, to appreciate the cleanliness and finesse of the perlage.
