Franciacorta P.R. Brut Blanc de Blancs - Monte Rossa

P.R. Blanc de Blanc is the Franciacorta born to celebrate 35 years of winery activity. Its name was born to pay homage to the founders of the company and in fact bears the initials of Paola Rovetta and her husband Paolo Rabotti. Blanc de Blancs is a cuvée of wines obtained from 65% Chardonnay of the best crus and 35% reserve Chardonnay wine. 

Once the grapes have reached the perfect degree of ripeness, they are carefully selected and then harvested manually and placed in crates. A delicate pressing follows with selection of the best part of the grapes for no more than 55% of the yield. Each cru is vinified alone. Fermentation takes place in steel vats and oak barrels. 

A goblet that wears a straw yellow tending to greenish color, with a creamy foam and an attractive and seductive bouquet on the nose. The fragrant fruity notes of golden apple, medlar and green almond blend with the sweet nuances of elderberry. It enters the palate with elegance and refinement, a balanced sip with a fruity and citrus flavour.

A splendid bubbly as an aperitif, but which also lends itself well to combinations with fish-based dishes, first courses with delicate sauces and medium-aged cheeses.
