The Freisa Langhe DOC from Cascina Fontana is a red wine that conveys the typical character of the grape variety stated on the label. Visually it shows a lively ruby color; on the nose it offers notes of small red fruits, a light floral hint and discreet spicy accents, without excess. On the palate it presents balanced freshness, soft tannins and a slightly saline texture that supports the sip in a linear, pleasant way, inviting drinking without claims about longevity.

It pairs well with everyday cooking and traditional dishes: cured meats, pastas with uncomplicated ragù, white meats and young cheeses. It is recommended to serve slightly cool, around 16–18 °C, to appreciate aromas and freshness. For an immediate experience, it is best consumed young; those who prefer to observe subtler evolution can try it over short times. Cascina Fontana delivers a restrained, recognizable example of the Freisa Langhe DOC indication.
