Clear ruby in color, it opens on the nose with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, floral hints and light spicy nuances that do not overpower the overall freshness. On the palate it shows medium body, silky tannins and balanced acidity, with a compact, pleasant finish that invites another sip.

It pairs well with everyday dishes and richer preparations: pasta with tomato sauce, lighter white or red meat dishes, and medium-matured cheeses. Winery history

Trained as an architect, Elena Walch raised the international profile of her family estate by modernising vineyard and cellar practices and emphasising single-vineyard expression. In recent years leadership has been progressively assumed by her daughters Julia and Karoline (fifth generation).

Production philosophy

Strongly terroir-driven approach: emphasis on single 'Vigna' sites, manual vineyard work, sustainability-oriented practices and careful cellar ageing (e.g. French barriques and extended bottle ageing).
