The Merlot Friuli DOC Le Monde presents a measured, recognizable profile: in the glass it shows a lively ruby color that invites a sip. On the nose ripe red fruits emerge, with a note of plum and floral hints that intertwine with a subtle spiciness. The character is elegant without excess, with good freshness that balances the softness of the fruit and gives the wine drinkability; the result is a pleasant sip, medium-bodied but with an overall sense of balance.

On the palate the tannins are soft and well integrated, the acidity sustained but never aggressive, supporting the wine's drinkability and leaving a pleasant finish. Suitable for everyday but carefully prepared dishes: it pairs naturally with red meats that are not too demanding, light braises, meat ragù and medium-aged cheeses; it also works with baked dishes and grilled fare. Serve around 16–18 °C to appreciate its finesse and drinkability.
