This Merlot Riserva from Trentino presents in the glass an intense ruby color and an aromatic profile that remains measured yet well-defined: ripe red fruit and plum, hints of undergrowth and a light spicy note that enriches the bouquet without overloading it. The texture is convincing, with polished tannins that support the body without coming across as austere; the balance between softness and freshness makes the wine approachable from the start, while still showing good depth and a pleasant persistence.

On the palate the wine is warm but controlled, with a dynamic that favors pleasure and drinkability: red fruit juice, a solid savory backbone and a finish that retains a light spicy thread. It pairs well with structured dishes such as roasted meats, braises and aged cheeses, but also holds up to more rustic interpretations of local cuisine. A short aeration before serving is recommended and a temperature around 16–18 °C to fully appreciate its substance and balance.
