The Mersault "Clos Du Cromin" from Patrick Javillier winery is a white wine that enchants with its complexity and sophistication. Produced in the prestigious Burgundy region of France, this label best expresses the characteristics of the Mersault terroir. The wine is primarily made with Chardonnay grapes, which impart a rich and enveloping structure.

On the nose, the "Clos Du Cromin" opens with inviting aromas of white-fleshed fruit such as apple and pear, followed by notes of white flowers and a delicate touch of vanilla, the result of careful aging in barrels. On the palate, it is pleasantly creamy, with good acidity that balances its intensity and leads to a long and persistent finish.

This wine is ideal for accompanying elaborate fish dishes, shellfish, or creamy cheeses. Its elegance and balance make it a sophisticated choice for important dinners or as a gift for enthusiasts of the genre.

Family-run winery based in Meursault (Burgundy), covering approximately 11 hectares on the Côte de Beaune; known for its Chardonnay-based white wines and for a production focused on expressing the terroir.
Region: Borgogna (Côte de Beaune)
Country: Francia
Founded: 1945
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
Based in Meursault, at the heart of Burgundy's great white wine production. Vineyards located in several communes of the Côte de Beaune. The domaine's area is reported to be approximately 11 hectares. Strong specialization in Chardonnay with extended aging and the use of barrels for white wines. Family-run in its third generation
Winery history
The family's first parcels were reorganized by Raymond Javillier upon his return from the war; the family business then developed under his son Patrick, who took the reins in the 1970s. In subsequent years the estate expanded its vineyards, and today its management involves the third generation, with Marion and Pierre-Emmanuel active respectively in winemaking, sales and vineyard management.
Production philosophy
An approach focused on respect for the terroir and on reasoned viticulture. In the cellar the philosophy is one of moderate intervention: use of indigenous yeasts, careful vinification and separate aging by parcel, with extended lees aging for the whites and a measured use of oak.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is located in Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Its parcels are situated across several communes and climats in the area, including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses, with bottles covering village-level and Premier Cru appellations and references to Grand Cru.
