Savigny Les Beaune "Les Grands Liards" by Patrick Javillier is a French red wine that encapsulates the quintessence of Burgundy. This wine is produced in Savigny-Les-Beaune, a denomination renowned for its sophisticated and delicately structured Pinot Noir.

On the nose, the "Les Grands Liards" seduces with a harmonious bouquet of ripe red fruits like cherries and raspberries, intertwined with nuances of damp earth and delicate spices, typical of Savigny's terroir. On the palate, the wine offers a silky texture and vivid freshness, balanced by mature tannins and well-integrated acidity that promises good aging potential.

Carefully aged, the Savigny Les Beaune by Patrick Javillier is best expressed when served at a temperature of 16-18°C and can accompany meat dishes such as roasted lamb or sophisticated preparations with wild mushrooms. A true gem for Burgundy wine lovers looking for a bottle that can be appreciated now or kept for a few more years.

Region: Borgogna (Côte de Beaune)
Country: Francia
Founded: 1945
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
Based in Meursault, at the heart of Burgundy's great white wine production. Vineyards located in several communes of the Côte de Beaune. The domaine's area is reported to be approximately 11 hectares. Strong specialization in Chardonnay with extended aging and the use of barrels for white wines. Family-run in its third generation
Winery history
The family's first parcels were reorganized by Raymond Javillier upon his return from the war; the family business then developed under his son Patrick, who took the reins in the 1970s. In subsequent years the estate expanded its vineyards, and today its management involves the third generation, with Marion and Pierre-Emmanuel active respectively in winemaking, sales and vineyard management.
Production philosophy
An approach focused on respect for the terroir and on reasoned viticulture. In the cellar the philosophy is one of moderate intervention: use of indigenous yeasts, careful vinification and separate aging by parcel, with extended lees aging for the whites and a measured use of oak.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is located in Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Its parcels are situated across several communes and climats in the area, including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses, with bottles covering village-level and Premier Cru appellations and references to Grand Cru.
