The Nebbiolo Rosso Gattinara DOCG 2020 in Jeroboam format from Torraccia is a wine that highlights the character of Nebbiolo within the Gattinara context. The large bottle also suggests shared consumption and a notable presence at the table. On the nose it shows the variety's typical traits, while the palate offers structure, defined tannins and a freshness that supports the whole. It is a profile to consider for those seeking a non-trivial red with food-pairing potential.

The Jeroboam format makes this wine suitable for convivial occasions and dinners where one bottle is shared. It can be served slightly chilled or at a cool room temperature, around 16–18 °C, and a short exposure to air before serving can soften the tannins. It pairs well with roasted meats, braises and hard cheeses; it can stand up to traditional dishes with concentrated sauces. For storage, keep the bottle in a cool, stable place and monitor its development over time.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
Production philosophy
Showcasing the territory through careful, low-impact viticulture, prioritizing native grape varieties and practices that bring out the character of the soil and climate. The approach combines respect for local tradition with modern winemaking techniques to produce wines with long aging potential.
