Il Pays d'Oc IGP Grand Chataignier Merlot Magnum della Domaine de la Baume è un vino che incarna l'eleganza e la complessità della regione del Languedoc. Questa espressione del Merlot, vitigno di origine bordolese, è un omaggio al terroir unico del Sud della Francia. Al palato, il Grand Chataignier Merlot si distingue per la sua morbidezza e rotondità. I tannini sono ben integrati e setosi, mentre l'acidità equilibrata dona vivacità a ogni sorso. La struttura è generosa, con un finale lungo e persistente, che richiama i frutti rossi e una leggera vena speziata. Winery history
The estate's origins date to the late 19th century with the Prat family; the property was renovated and replanted during the 20th century. In the 1990s, families with international experience joined the management; in 2003 the estate became part of the group led by Joseph Helfrich, which relaunched production and wine exports.
Production philosophy
The estate’s approach combines tradition and modernity: parcel-by-parcel selection, night harvesting to preserve freshness and aromas, and careful control of winemaking to express the typicity of each vineyard.
Terroir and vineyards
