Winery history Domaine de la Baume

The estate's origins date to the late 19th century with the Prat family; the property was renovated and replanted during the 20th century. In the 1990s, families with international experience joined the management; in 2003 the estate became part of the group led by Joseph Helfrich, which relaunched production and wine exports.

Production philosophy

The estate’s approach combines tradition and modernity: parcel-by-parcel selection, night harvesting to preserve freshness and aromas, and careful control of winemaking to express the typicity of each vineyard.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in Servian, between Béziers and Pézenas in the expansive Languedoc wine region, the estate benefits from a Mediterranean climate and diverse soils — limestone-clay terraces and sandier plains — which support the cultivation of a wide range of grape varieties.
