Pievecroce Lugana in magnum format expresses an immediate yet composed profile: in the glass it shows ripe white fruit and citrus zest, supported by a delicate floral note and a saline freshness that keeps the sip clean. The structure is balanced, with medium body and well-measured softness, while the acidity helps give rhythm without becoming overbearing; on the palate the persistence remains pleasant, with mineral echoes that invite a second sip. The length is satisfying and hints of bitter almond complete the picture, indicating a good aptitude for a few years in bottle.

It is a wine designed for convivial occasions and for medium-bodied land and sea dishes: baked fish, creamy risottos, white meats and fresh cheeses all find a good companion in this Lugana. Serve cool, around 10-12 °C, in large glasses, and take advantage of the magnum format if you want a slower evolution in bottle and a more elegant presence at the table; it also lends itself to pairings with light Asian cuisine or elaborate appetizers.
