The Pinot Bianco IGP Venezia Giulia "Collezioni di Famiglia" by Ronco dei Tassi represents a sublime exemplification of how a grape variety can express the nuances of the territory in which it is cultivated. This white wine is produced in one of the most prestigious areas of Friuli, features that reflect in the elegance and finesse of the wine.

The color is a delicate straw yellow with slightly greenish reflections, typical of Pinot Bianco. On the nose, the wine releases a rich aromatic bouquet with nuances: notes of green apple, pear, with a touch of citrus and a subtle floral vein can be perceived. These aromas are the prelude to a balanced and refined taste experience.

On the palate, the wine is fresh and well-structured. Its acidity is lively but never overbearing, balanced by a slight roundness that leads to a clean and persistent finish. The Pinot Bianco "Collezioni di Famiglia" is a wine that, although can be appreciated in its youth for its freshness and aromaticity, also has aging potential thanks to its structure and complexity.

Pairing this Pinot Bianco means choosing dishes that reflect its elegance and delicate power. It is ideal with seafood starters, delicate fish-based dishes, or seafood risottos. Even a simple buffalo mozzarella with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil can be a perfect companion for this wine, elevating the purity of flavors.

Winner of various awards and recognitions, the Pinot Bianco IGP Venezia Giulia "Collezioni di Famiglia" Ronco dei Tassi is not just a wine, but a true expression of the Friulian territory, promising a sensory experience that enchants and leaves a lasting impression.

Country: Italy
Founded: 1989
Grapes: Friulano, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla, Picolit, Merlot
Fosarin — the estate’s signature wine, awarded Tre Bicchieri. Located in Cormòns, Collio Goriziano; the name derives from "ronco" and from the presence of yew trees. A broad range of wines, including Fosarin, Cjarandon, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla and Picolit. An agricultural philosophy focused on vineyard care and the targeted management of fermentations to preserve typicity.
Winery history
The estate was founded when Fabio Coser, together with his wife Daniela, purchased a property in the heart of the Collio; the name comes from the presence of colonies of badgers and from the vineyards’ typical 'ronco' layout. The winery has grown over the years, becoming a local reference for Collio white wines.
Production philosophy
Quality-focused approach to raw materials: careful attention to vine training systems and frequent vineyard inspections to bring healthy grapes to the winery and allow winemaking that highlights the typicity of the terroir. In the historic blends, ageing in wood and vinification in stainless steel are balanced to achieve complexity without overpowering the fruit.
Terroir and vineyards
Collio Goriziano, in the municipality of Cormòns, at altitudes ranging from approximately 140 to 200 m above sea level; close to the protected Plessiva area, characterized by terraced vineyards and a rich presence of flora and fauna. The territory is fundamental to the style of the wines, with a strong focus on indigenous and international white varieties cultivated in the area.
Awards and recognitions
The Collio Bianco 'Fosarin' has recently received notable accolades, including the Tre Bicchieri in the Vini d'Italia guide and the 'Vino Bianco dell’anno' award at Food & Travel Italia's 2026 Wine Awards.
