Pfitscher's Pinot Bianco Südtirol Alto Adige DOC "Longarei" represents the pure and elegant expression of one of the most appreciated grape varieties of Alto Adige. This region of northern Italy is renowned for its high quality white wines, and Pinot Blanc, in particular, finds in its valleys and mountain slopes the ideal climate and mineral soils which enhance its freshness, aroma and complexity.

The Pfitscher winery, located in the heart of Alto Adige, is among the producers who have been able to best interpret the potential of this territory, combining winemaking tradition and technological innovation. "Longarei" is the result of a careful selection of the best Pinot Bianco grapes, grown in particularly suitable vineyards, where solar exposure and the composition of the soil contribute to giving the wine distinctive characteristics and a unique identity.

The vinification of "Longarei" focuses on preserving the varietal characteristics and territorial expression of Pinot Blanc. The grapes, harvested at the optimal moment of ripeness, are delicately pressed and the must ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel containers, to keep the freshness and intensity of the aromas intact. A short period of refinement on fine yeasts helps to enrich the wine with further nuances and improve its structure.

Visually, "Longarei" has a brilliant straw yellow color, with greenish reflections that underline its freshness and liveliness. On the nose, the wine offers a delicate but complex bouquet, with notes of green apple, pear, white flowers and a hint of minerality, reflecting the influence of the Alpine terroir. These olfactory sensations open up to a balanced and harmonious palate, where the lively acidity of Pinot Blanc is perfectly integrated with a soft structure and a pleasant aromatic persistence.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with light dishes, seafood appetizers, fresh salads and fish-based dishes, Pfitscher's Pinot Bianco "Longarei" is also an excellent companion for pasta dishes and risottos, thanks to its ability to accompany with elegance and without overpowering the delicate flavors of the food.

In conclusion, the Pinot Bianco Südtirol Alto Adige DOC "Longarei" by Pfitscher is a wine that celebrates the qualities of the grape variety and the richness of the Alto Adige terroir with refinement and intensity, offering a tasting experience that combines freshness, elegance and complexity in an exemplary way.
