The Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC Riserva Mazon from Tenuta J Hofstatter is a red wine that highlights the varietal elegance of Pinot Nero together with the character associated with the name Mazon. In the glass it shows a ruby colour; on the nose there are aromas of cherry, raspberry and small red fruits, accompanied by delicate floral notes and a subtle earthy hint. On the palate it is refined, with soft tannins, good acidity and a balanced body that emphasizes a savory texture and gentle persistence.

It pairs well with dishes of white meats and lighter red meats, poultry, mushrooms and medium-aged cheeses; it also suits simple mountain cuisine preparations. Serve at around 14–16°C, preferably after a short decanting to reveal its aromas. Produced by Tenuta J Hofstatter, this Pinot Nero is aimed at those seeking a measured, regionally expressive style of the variety.
