Pairing Appetizers, fish, white meats
Rosé Franciacorta DOCG from Tenuta Montenisa, by Marchese Antinori, is presented in a cased magnum with the restraint expected of a fine sparkling wine. The color is powder-pink, bright; on the nose there are impressions of small red berries just crushed, a light field flower note and a subtle hint of bread crust that adds depth without overpowering. The perlage is fine and persistent: it gives the aromatic profile a flowing lightness and invites the sip.

On the palate it shows a balance between freshness and body: the acidity is lively but well integrated, the sapidity supports the finish and the tannic texture, if present, remains delicate. It’s a versatile rosé, perfect as an elegant aperitif and able to hold up to pairings with raw fish, shellfish dishes, white meats and delicate cured meats; it works just as well with vegetable-based first courses or light fruit desserts. Serve chilled; the magnum is ideal for preserving and enhancing its evolution over time.

Winery history
The Antinori family has been connected to winemaking for centuries and is recorded as active in the wine trade as early as 1385. The "Marchese Antinori" label is among the winery's historic names; since the 2011 vintage the Chianti Classico Riserva "Marchese Antinori" has been produced exclusively from grapes from Tenuta Tignanello, one of the family's most representative estates.
Production philosophy
It combines respect for tradition and the land with technical innovation: vineyard care, ampelographic research and careful winemaking practices to enhance the expression of Sangiovese and the historic parcels of Chianti Classico.
Terroir and vineyards
Production is firmly rooted in Chianti Classico. The Tenuta Tignanello estate is located on the hills between the Greve and Pesa valleys; the soils are calcareous-marly, which contribute to the wine's character.
