Saint Romain "Vieilles Vignes" by Domaine de Bellene is a white wine that represents the essence of Burgundy, a wine region famous for producing some of the best wines in the world. This particular cru comes from old vineyards located in the village of Saint Romain, an area known for its limestone soils and favorable microclimate which helps produce wines of great minerality, freshness and complexity.

Domaine de Bellene, founded by renowned winemaker Nicolas Potel, is committed to producing wines that reflect the pure expression of Burgundian terroir, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and respect for the environment. The philosophy of the domain is based on the use of organic and organic-dynamic viticulture practices, which allow vines to be grown in perfect harmony with nature and to enhance the unique characteristics of each vineyard.

The "Vieilles Vignes" of Saint Romain is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes, carefully selected from the property's old vines, some of which are more than 60 years old. These advanced vineyards produce grapes of exceptional quality, with superior concentration and aromatic complexity. The winemaking is carried out with a minimal approach, using spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts and aging in French oak barriques, some of which are new, to enrich the wine with subtle toasted and vanilla notes, while maintaining the elegance and freshness of the fruit.

At sight, the Saint Romain "Vieilles Vignes" shows a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, it expresses a wide range of aromas, with notes of white pulp fruit such as peach and pear, enriched by accents of white flowers, limestone minerality and a light touch of oak. In the mouth, the wine reveals extraordinary elegance and balance, with a vibrant freshness that harmonises perfectly with the aromatic richness and structure given by the age of the vines and the aging in wood.

Ideal in combination with delicate dishes of fish, seafood, poultry in a creamy sauce or soft cheeses, the Saint Romain "Vieilles Vignes" by Domaine de Bellene is a wine that enchants with its finesse and depth, offering an authentic taste of the nobility and winemaking tradition of Burgundy.
