Of a bright straw-yellow, it shows a fine perlage that supports a composed yet straightforward bouquet: white flowers, fresh citrus and green apple emerge with light hints of bread crust that suggest complexity without opulence. The character is dry, with lively acidity and a discreet salinity that shapes a slim yet present sip, where balance and precision take precedence over power.

The drinkability is immediate but not simplistic: it pairs very well with fish starters, raw fish dishes and shellfish-based plates, as well as fresh cheeses and sautéed vegetable recipes; it also stands up to more structured preparations thanks to its persistent finish and taut texture. Winery history

The story of a farming family from the Langhe that revived local viticulture: after years of mixed farming, management passed to Anna Maria, and she relaunched the estate’s production and the work on its high‑altitude vineyards. The property was rebuilt from the 1990s onwards and the estate has grown to include new vineyards and a presence in Monforte.

Production philosophy

Production focused on respect for the land and the pursuit of elegance and freshness: single-varietal wines that express the specificity of the soil and altitude, made using practices that prioritize craftsmanship, limited use of technology, and a focus on sustainability.

Terroir and vineyards

Langhe: high-altitude vineyards mainly in Farigliano, areas of Alta Langa in Marsaglia and vineyards for Barolo in Monforte d’Alba; calcareous-clay soils and altitudes often above 500 m a.s.l. that enhance freshness and aromaticity.
