The Vermentino IGT Isola dei Nuraghi "Cerdena" by Argiolas is an example of excellence of the Vermentino vine, interpreted by the historic Argiolas winery, a symbol of quality and innovation in Sardinian viticulture. This wine is produced under the typical geographical indication "Isola dei Nuraghi", a denomination that embraces the whole of Sardinia and which allows great freedom in the choice of vines and winemaking techniques, promoting wines of unique character and identity.

"Cerdena" is the result of a careful selection of Vermentino grapes grown in specific vineyards on the island, where the climatic conditions, characterized by intense temperature variations between day and night, and the rich soils give the wine aromatic intensity, freshness and minerality. Argiolas pays great attention to sustainability and quality in every phase of production, from the care of the vineyards to winemaking, to best express the potential of the Sardinian terroir.

The vinification of "Cerdena" involves fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, to preserve the freshness and aroma of the grape variety. A short period of aging on the yeasts follows, which enriches the wine with complexity and softness, while maintaining the typical liveliness of Vermentino.

Visually, "Cerdena" has a bright straw yellow color, with greenish reflections that highlight its freshness. On the nose, it offers an intense and complex aromatic profile, with notes of white pulp fruit, citrus, white flowers and a distinctive minerality, which reflects the union between grape variety and terroir.

In the mouth, the wine surprises with its extraordinary freshness and balance, with a lively acidity that supports its structure and amplifies the flavors of fresh fruit and herbaceous notes. The finish is long and persistent, with an aftertaste that refers to the mineral and citrus sensations perceived on the nose.

Ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to light appetizers, fish-based dishes, seafood and grilled vegetables, the Vermentino IGT Isola dei Nuraghi "Cerdena" by Argiolas is a very classy choice for those who want to explore elegance and typicality of Sardinian Vermentino, offering a tasting experience that combines aromatic intensity, freshness and profound expression of the territory.
