VV Vinhas Velhas - Niepoort is born in the historic vineyards of the Douro, an iconic region of Portugal famous for its millenary winemaking tradition.

This wine is made from grapes of old native vines, able to intensely express the character of the rocky and sunny terroir. The vinification respects traditional methods, enhancing the balance between freshness and structure. The long aging increases the aromatic complexity, revealing notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and light mineral nuances.

On the palate, VV Vinhas Velhas stands out for its elegance and persistence, with soft and well-integrated tannins. Ideal to pair with roasted meats, aged cheeses, or Mediterranean cuisine dishes, it embodies the authentic and intense soul of the Douro, capable of engaging even the most demanding palates.
