A Cognac renowned all over the world, Rémy Martin's great style is the combination of three centuries of history, tradition and culture, for one of the most appreciated and well-known labels, thanks to the consistently excellent quality.
The secret is undoubtedly the conformation of the soils on which the vineyards are grown, in a precise area of Cognac defined as "Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne", where the soil is overflowing with minerals and gives the brandy unprecedented aromas and flavours. This "Very Superior Old Pale" is aged for 4 years in oak barrels, which give it great refinement and an edge; has become one of the best-selling in the world, thanks to its high quality and unmistakable taste.
In the glass it has a warm, pale and luminous golden yellow colour. Pleasant sweet sensations of raisins and vanilla rise to the nose, accompanied by aromas of melted butter and hazelnut, with floral hints of yellow rose, slight citrus and white currant hints, and almond notes. On the palate it is soft and balanced, enveloping, with numerous aromatic returns in a succession of raisins and shortcrust pastry, hints of pastry with an immense almondy persistence.
