The Schioppettino DOP Isonzo del Friuli by Colmello di Grotta is a wine that embodies the elegance and tradition of the special Friulian wine region. Made from the homonymous native grape variety, the Schioppettino stands out for its decisive character and unmistakable spicy aroma, reminiscent of black pepper, ripe red fruits, and light herbal notes. This medium-bodied red wine presents an intense ruby color and a complex bouquet, expressing the particular combination of climate and soil of the Isonzo area, characterized by calcareous-clayey soils and a favorable microclimate.

Colmello di Grotta ages this Schioppettino using traditional methods, allowing the wine to develop softness and structure, harmonizing freshness and elegant tannins. Perfect with dishes based on red meats, game, or aged cheeses, it is a refined choice for those who desire an authentic sensory experience of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
