A land of choice, where the wine has a strong character without mediation, like Federico Curtaz's interpretation of his Etna wines.
The grape harvest is done in the month of October; from ancient vineyards grown on volcanic deposits dating back to about 15,000 years ago. The wine is vinified in steel vats and aged in barriques and oak barrels.
Etna Rosso is a volcanic reading in a Piedmontese key, where volume and acidity play a decisive role in defining this wine. A goblet that has an intense ruby red color and a bouquet characterized by a typical aroma of red fruit and spicy notes.
A deep red, with a silky and enveloping tannic texture. Il Purgatorio is a glass of excellent drinkability and persistence on the palate that guarantees a quality sip and a harmonious finish. Excellent to combine with dishes based on grilled meat, roasts, game and not too mature cheeses.
