The first produced vintage of Collepiano Sagrantino di Montefalco dates back to 1979. A wine that is aged for 22 months in French oak barriques and at least 6 months in the bottle.

In the glass it presents a deep ruby red color. On the nose it is elegant and intriguing thanks to the aromas of blackberry jam, pepper, clove and vanilla, a balsamic note and a touch of powder. On the palate it is powerful and elegant at the same time; with an important tannin that leads to a long finish to be savored.

At the table it will certainly not disappoint expectations; it is the perfect companion to a good dish of roasted meat preferably with a good fat content, stews and game.
