Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Tratturo originates from the union of Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes, in the hills of Abruzzo, where there are optimal soil and climatic conditions that allow it to best express its qualities.
After harvesting and careful selection, the grapes are vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with maceration in the presence of the skins. Before being put on the market, expert oenologists evaluate that the product guarantees optimal characteristics, in any case this happens not before the month of May of the year following that of vinification.
We are talking about a wine that stands out in the glass for its intense ruby red color, with brilliant violet hues. The nose offers wide, intense and fruity aromas of plums and red fruits, which blend perfectly with fine spicy notes.
A balanced red with a good structure that conquers the palate for its softness and good persistence in the mouth. A drink that from the first sip proves to be excellent in combination with well-aged cheeses, first courses with meat sauces and white or red meat dishes.
