The Chiarli family started its wine business in 1860 in Modena; since then it has remained family-run and has grown to establish itself as one of the leading interpreters of Lambrusco. During the 20th century the company expanded the production and distribution of its wines while preserving archives and historical collections on display in the Galleria Chiarli at Tenuta Cialdini. Among its earliest recognitions is a "Mention Honorable" awarded in Paris in 1900.
