Winery history House of Smith

Born from Charles Smith's winemaking, the business now known as House of Smith traces its roots to Smith's early vintages, including the first K Vintners vintage in 1999. In 2021 the company officially adopted the name "House of Smith" to unite its broad portfolio of brands and continue producing and distributing wines from Washington State.

Production philosophy

Production focused on 100% Washington wines, with an emphasis on transparency and winemaking practices such as native-yeast fermentations, no use of hidden additives, and a commitment to sustainable farming.
