The 4 Sorelle Barbera d’Asti DOCG from Bersano presents an immediate, honest character: a lively ruby color and aromas recalling cherry, raspberry and subtle spicy notes. On the palate freshness takes center stage, supported by a clean acidity that makes the sip smooth; the structure is medium-bodied, with soft tannins that accompany without weighing down. The balance between fruit and gastronomic liveliness makes it easy to drink but not trivial, with a persistence that invites a second glass. The wine is agile yet full of personality, able to stand up to flavorful dishes without losing freshness.

It pairs naturally with first courses in tomato sauce, stuffed pastas, light grilled meats and cured meats: it also finds excellent company with medium-aged cheeses. Serve chilled, around 16–18 °C, in a glass that allows the fruit to express itself; it’s an everyday table companion able to add pleasure without too much formality. It suits informal gatherings well, perfect for sharing mealtime moments without grand pretensions.
