Produced from Albana grapes left to dry in the vineyard until October, the Calonga passito brings back all the nuances of the flavors and emotions of autumn.

Its aromatic profile is rich and complex, with notes of date, dried fig, dehydrated apricot, candied citrus and a glazed finish. Each sip is characterized by its intense but balanced sweetness, with a fresh and citrus finish.

On the nose, it reveals a fragrant bouquet of ripe fruit and honey, with nuances of white flowers that make the olfactory experience truly special.

Winery history
The winery began as the agricultural enterprise of the Baravelli family and, according to official information, started winemaking under the name Calonga in 1977. Over the years the family has expanded the facilities and reorganized the vineyards, maintaining family management and focusing on the expression of local grape varieties.
Production philosophy
The winery states that it bases its work on respecting the natural rhythms of the vineyard and the land, enhancing local grape varieties and tradition, together with carefully selected cellar practices to express the character of the Romagna terroir.
Terroir and vineyards
The winery is located near Forlì and a short distance from the Monte Poggiolo area. The surrounding landscape is defined by the hills of Romagna and is also of paleontological interest, with specimens preserved at the Museo Civico di Scienze Naturali di Faenza.
