Descrizione

In the glass it shows a luminous garnet color, an aromatic profile that recalls ripe red fruits and dried rose petals, supported by a background of sweet spices and a light note of tobacco. The olfactory expression is clear but not aggressive, with a vibrant freshness that keeps the sip agile; well-defined tannins provide structure without weighing it down, while its sapidity keeps the wine balanced toward a persistent finish and suggests further potential for development. The balance between acidity and tannin makes it enjoyable immediately, while promising additional complexity with a few years in bottle.

On the palate it displays a full yet uplifted body, the tannic texture is dense and polymeric, perfect to accompany dishes with character; I suggest serving it at a moderate temperature and allowing a short decanting time to harmonize the components. It pairs with braised meats, stewed mushrooms, savory risottos and aged cheeses, but it reveals its best with structured dishes that showcase its depth without overpowering its finesse. Served in a large glass and at around 16-18 °C it delivers its fullest expression.

The winery originated from the agricultural activities initiated by Luigi Einaudi. The family progressively expanded the property and the vineyards, passing management through several generations to the current leadership of Matteo Sardagna Einaudi.
