Bourgogne Maison Dieu Vieilles Vignes - Domaine de Bellene is a red wine from Burgundy, one of the most prestigious and historic wine regions in France. This wine is produced by Domaine de Bellene, a winery dedicated to producing wines that accurately reflect the unique character of their terroir, using sustainable and environmentally friendly viticultural practices. The founder of the Domaine, Nicolas Potel, is known for his passion and commitment to creating high-quality wines that express the purity and authenticity of the individual vineyard parcels.

The "Maison Dieu" refers to a specific location in Burgundy, and the "Vieilles Vignes" label indicates that the wine is made from old vines, often over 35 years old, which are capable of imparting greater complexity and concentration to wine. These older vines are rooted deeper into the soil, exploring different geological layers and thus achieving a richer and more varied expression of the terroir.

Bourgogne Maison Dieu Vieilles Vignes is typically produced mainly with Pinot Noir grapes, a vine that finds its ideal habitat in Burgundy, capable of translating the nuances of the terroir with elegance and finesse. The wine features careful vinification and aging in oak barriques which adds layers of aromatic complexity without overpowering the purity of the fruit.

At sight, the wine has a light ruby red color, typical of Pinot Noir. On the nose, it offers a rich and inviting bouquet, with notes of red fruits such as cherries and strawberries, floral accents, subtle spices and a light mineral trace. In the mouth, the wine is elegant and balanced, with a fine tannic structure and lively acidity which enhance its freshness and drinkability. Ripe red fruit flavors blend with earthy and spicy notes, leading to a long, harmonious finish.

Ideal in combination with delicate meat dishes, poultry, mushroom dishes and soft cheeses, the Bourgogne Maison Dieu Vieilles Vignes - Domaine de Bellene is an authentic expression of Burgundy and its main grape variety, offering a tasting experience that combines tradition and innovation.
