Bric Micca Barbaresco DOCG 2023 from Poderi Luigi Einaudi presents itself with elegance: the color is clear, ruby with still-young garnet reflections. On the nose it opens with notes of raspberry and cherry, accompanied by a subtle floral bouquet reminiscent of rose and light spicy veins; the aromatic profile is fine, not loud, and suggests a certain complexity even at this youthful stage. The sip confirms a balanced profile, with lively acidity and tannins that are present but well integrated, granting structure without weighing it down; its sapidity and a pleasant persistence make the wine measured and characterful, with a fruity return on the finish.

The style suits those seeking a classy Barbaresco, capable of accompanying structured dishes without overpowering them. It pairs well with red meats that aren’t too fatty, roasted poultry, aged cheeses or traditional mushroom-based dishes; a light aeration before service enhances the aromas. Serving temperature around 16–18°C to best capture its freshness and tannic elegance.
