The Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley from Silver Oak in magnum format displays a broad, recognizable aromatic profile. On the nose are ripe dark fruits, hints of cherry and plum, with traces of cocoa, sweet tobacco and light spicy notes. On the palate it shows structure and intensity, tannins that are present but balanced, and a progression that makes the sip enveloping without being overly heavy. The long finish invites further sips and confirms the varietal personality typical of Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley.

The magnum format is ideal for convivial occasions and encourages a more harmonious bottle maturation. It pairs well with grilled red meats, braised dishes, substantial roasts and aged cheeses; it also suits mushroom-based dishes and rich sauces. Serve at cool cellar temperature and decide whether to decant based on the bottle's age and aromatic openness. A reliable choice for those seeking a characterful red to share and enjoy over a few years.

Winery history
Terroir and vineyards
