On 30 September 1964, the first harvest of Campofiorin began on the rolling hills of Verona. This wine, which has marked the history of Valpolicella, has therefore turned fifty, becoming one of the most loved classics of the Italian tradition in the world. A wine that marries simplicity and grace, with strength and majesty.
In the glass it shows a majestic intense ruby red color. On the nose, it releases perfumes of ripe cherries and sweet spices. On the palate it is immediately rich and with an intense flavor of cherry and berries. A red with good persistence and soft tannins to be enjoyed until the last sip.
A wine rich, round and velvety, of rare eclecticism at the table. Excellent in combination with first courses with rich sauces (meat or mushrooms), main courses of important red meats, grilled, roasted and game. It also goes very well with aged cheeses.
