The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC Giusi from Terraviva is an organic rosé with an immediate, honest character. In the glass it shows a bright cherry colour, luminous and inviting. On the nose it opens with notes of fresh red fruit, small flowers and a slight herbal hint that gives it freshness. On the palate it is saline, easy-drinking, with balanced structure and fruity returns that extend its persistence. The lively acidity makes it suitable for early consumption, served chilled and refreshing.

Produced by Terraviva in the Giusi line and certified organic, it is a versatile choice for summer dishes and throughout the year: salads, seafood starters, grilled fish or vegetable-based dishes. Its lightness also makes it ideal as an aperitif wine or to accompany informal convivial gatherings. We recommend storing it cool and consuming it within a few years to best appreciate its freshness and direct character.

Tenuta Terraviva (Società Agricola Collebello S.r.l.) – Winery in Abruzzo (province of Teramo)

Discover the story and wines of Tenuta Terraviva (Società Agricola Collebello S.r.l.).

Winery Tenuta Terraviva (Società Agricola Collebello S.r.l.) in Tortoreto (TE), Abruzzo, Italy. Produces organic wines from native grapes (Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina); notable label: the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo "Giusi".
Region: Abruzzo (province of Teramo)
Country: Italy
Winery history
Family-run estate led by the Topi family (Pina Marano and Pietro Topi, assisted by their children Federica and Francesco). Vines on the property date back to the 1970s; the Tenuta Terraviva label has been established since around 2008. The estate converted to organic viticulture and has earned regional/national recognitions (e.g., Slow Wine; the Cerasuolo "Giusi" has been noted by Gambero Rosso).
Production philosophy
To express the terroir by using only estate-grown native grapes farmed under organic principles. Winemaking follows an artisanal approach: hand harvest in small boxes, gentle pressing, spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, ageing mainly in stainless steel with experiments in amphora and concrete.
Terroir and vineyards
Hills of Tortoreto (province of Teramo) between the Gran Sasso and the Adriatic Sea. Soils mainly calcareous-clayey; the vineyards (about 22 ha) are planted in a sun-facing arc overlooking the sea, with a maritime-moderated climate and beneficial day–night temperature swings.
