The Champagne Premier Cru Tradition Extra Brut - Magnum - Lelarge Pugeot represents excellence in the panorama of extra brut champagnes. This prestigious Champagne comes from the renowned Premier Cru area, known for its calcareous soils that confer finesse and structure to the wine. The Lelarge Pugeot maison, with a long winemaking tradition, produces this Champagne using a traditional method that enhances the natural purity of the product.

In this Champagne, the blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay grapes expresses itself in a surprising balance, with a predominance of fresh fruit, citrus notes, and lively minerality. The absence of added dosage and the long aging on the lees in the bottle intensify its aromatic complexity, making Premier Cru Tradition Extra Brut a sincere expression of the terroir.

Served well chilled, it is ideal as an aperitif or to accompany refined fish-based dishes. The Magnum format presentation is perfect for special occasions, emphasizing the elegance and exclusivity of this Champagne. A suave yet intense option that seduces the most discerning palates.

Winery history
The Lelarge family has cultivated vineyards in Vrigny for generations; the first records date back to the late 18th century, and the house began bottling Champagne in the early decades of the 20th century. In the 1980s Dominique Lelarge and Dominique Pugeot gave the house its current name; from the 2000s the estate embarked on a transition toward more environmentally friendly practices, with a gradual move to organic farming and biodynamic techniques, expansion of cellar facilities, and the development of natural cuvées and still wines.
Production philosophy
The estate prioritizes respect for biodiversity and the soil: organic vineyard management, biodynamic practices on parts of the estate, spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, and minimal cellar interventions. They also promote social initiatives related to sustainability and fair trade with international partners.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Vrigny, a Premier Cru village in the Montagne de Reims. The vineyards lie on chalky, silty‑clay and sandy soils; the estate's plantings are concentrated around Vrigny, an area recognized for its expression of Pinot Meunier.
