The Cirò Riserva DOC "Duca San Felice" by Librandi is a distinguished expression of Calabrian viticulture, made exclusively from Gaglioppo grapes, a native variety that draws its strength from the rich, sunny land of the region. The wine is produced in 375ml bottles, perfect for special occasions or an intimate dinner for two.

This Riserva, selected from the best grapes of old vines located around the municipality of Cirò, showcases a careful and traditional winemaking process. After fermentation, the wine matures in oak barrels for at least 12 months, followed by further refinement in the bottle, which enhances its complexity.

In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections, promising a robust and enveloping structure. On the nose, the Duca San Felice exhibits a bouquet of ripe fruits such as cherries and plums, enriched by spicy notes and slight hints of tobacco and leather, deriving from its oak aging.

On the palate, the wine offers a full and harmonious flavor, characterized by well-integrated tannins and a persistent freshness that precedes a long and pleasantly spicy finish. It pairs magnificently with hearty dishes of traditional Italian cuisine, such as red meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses.

The Cirò Riserva DOC "Duca San Felice" thus offers an intense tasting experience, reflecting the richness of Cirò's terroir and Librandi's artisanal skill. A wine to be appreciated in its evolution, ideal for those who seek the history and tradition of Calabria in a glass.
