Contessa Maggi Franciacorta DOCG is presented in magnum housed in a wooden case, an elegant gesture that immediately makes its intention clear: a wine to share and to celebrate. In the glass it surprises with a fine, persistent perlage and a balanced aromatic profile, evoking white-fleshed fruit, a bready note and a touch of minerality. The character is refined yet tangible, with good freshness that supports the sip without excess, inviting drinking with pleasure and restraint.

On the palate it confirms the balance between softness and acidic tension, with a savory texture that prolongs the finish and delivers a pleasantly dry, slightly almondy finale. The magnum format amplifies the roundness and the fineness of the bubbles, making it ideal for convivial moments, pairings with raw seafood and shellfish or as an accompaniment to elaborate appetizers; also excellent as a gift for those who appreciate Italian sparkling wines of character without excess.

Winery history
The Antinori family has been connected to winemaking for centuries and is recorded as active in the wine trade as early as 1385. The "Marchese Antinori" label is among the winery's historic names; since the 2011 vintage the Chianti Classico Riserva "Marchese Antinori" has been produced exclusively from grapes from Tenuta Tignanello, one of the family's most representative estates.
Production philosophy
It combines respect for tradition and the land with technical innovation: vineyard care, ampelographic research and careful winemaking practices to enhance the expression of Sangiovese and the historic parcels of Chianti Classico.
Terroir and vineyards
Production is firmly rooted in Chianti Classico. The Tenuta Tignanello estate is located on the hills between the Greve and Pesa valleys; the soils are calcareous-marly, which contribute to the wine's character.
