The Cote Rotie - La Landonne by Domaine Rostaing is an excellent example of elegance and power, characteristics that harmoniously merge in this prestigious wine. Coming from the renowned region of Côte-Rôtie, this wine is crafted with Syrah grapes, which in this particular location, find an extraordinarily refined expression thanks to the specific climate and soil of the La Landonne area.

On the nose, the Cote Rotie La Landonne reveals a complex bouquet of ripe black fruits, spicy notes of black pepper, and a subtle hint of wood smoke, due to its aging in French oak barrels. On the palate, it stands out for its robust structure and well-integrated tannins, promising excellent aging potential. Notes of blackberries, cassis, and dark chocolate intertwine with a mineral elegance, leading to a long and persistent finish.

This wine is not only an impeccable choice for special occasions but is also an excellent candidate for further aging in the cellar, where it can evolve and improve for many years to come. Ideal for accompanying intense dishes such as red meat roasts or game, the Cote Rotie La Landonne by Domaine Rostaing is a true gem for lovers of wines with character and complexity.

Over the years the domaine expanded its parcels in Côte-Rôtie and also developed a small Condrieu and productions in Languedoc. Management has passed to the next generation with Pierre Rostaing.
Production philosophy
