Dolcetto d'Alba DOC - Buràn - Piazzo Comm. Armando embodies the essence of Piedmont, an authentic expression of the Dolcetto grape cultivated in the lands of Alba. This wine presents an intense and bright ruby color, a sign of its youth and freshness. On the nose, it offers fruity aromas of cherry and small berries, accompanied by delicate floral notes and subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is soft and harmonious, with smooth tannins that provide a pleasant persistence without heaviness, a typical characteristic of Dolcetto, which stands out for its balance and immediacy. The aging process takes place in steel, thus preserving the aromatic purity and freshness of the fruit, making this wine excellent to accompany traditional Piedmontese dishes, such as cured meat appetizers, pasta with meat sauce, or fresh cheeses.

Dolcetto d'Alba DOC - Buràn - Piazzo Comm. Armando represents a pleasant everyday companion, capable of enhancing conviviality with its straightforwardness and genuine character, typical of the denomination.

A range that includes classic red wines, white wines typical of the area, and traditional-method sparkling wines. Featured and reviewed by industry guides and critics.
Winery history
The Piazzo family began their activity in the hills of San Rocco Seno d’Elvio in the 1960s: the couple Armando Piazzo and Gemma Veglia invested in Nebbiolo vineyards and, beginning with the harvest that produced their first wine in 1979, the estate progressively expanded its range to become a leading name in the Langhe. Management later passed to the next generations, who have preserved the family character while introducing innovative practices in the vineyard and cellar.
Production philosophy
The winery combines an artisanal, family-run approach with respect for the land: vineyard care, attention to the Nebbiolo tradition, and the use of modern techniques to enhance the terroir expression of each cru.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are concentrated in the Langhe and Roero, with plots around Alba and in towns such as Mango, Neviglie, Guarene and Novello. The headquarters are located in the hamlet of San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, in the municipality of Alba.
