The intensity is evident without being aggressive, and the aromatic compactness discreetly reflects the 2021 vintage and the Californian provenance of the producer. Overall it offers a balance between fruit and structure, with a finesse that does not neglect depth.

On the palate it reveals full body and a tannic framework that is present but smooth, supported by acidity that maintains liveliness. Persistence is good and the finish remains on fruity tones with a subtle spice.
