The Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC from Josef Weger is an aromatic, characterful white wine. It presents a rich, recognizable bouquet: notes of lychee, rose, sweet spices and hints of yellow‑fleshed fruit alternate with a balsamic background. On the nose it is intense yet balanced, without excess. On the palate it shows a full body, a soft texture and good persistence, supported by a sapid sensation that prevents heaviness.

It suits those seeking an aromatic white to pair with flavorful dishes: it pairs well with lightly spiced Asian cuisine, soft‑ripened cheeses and delicate cured meats. It can be served as an aperitif but also stands up to savory dishes without overwhelming their aromas. Serve well chilled and open shortly before tasting to appreciate its aromatic complexity. This expression of the region favors olfactory finesse over opulence.
