Elegant and full of character, the Grappa Agontano Barricata by Garofoli displays the typical profile of a wood-aged distillate: a warm amber color and a bouquet that opens with sweet notes of vanilla and honey, followed by hints of dried fruit and a light toastiness. On the nose it is never excessive; warm tones coexist with a balsamic touch that keeps everything fresh and restrained. The sensation is smooth but never heavy, with the alcoholic warmth well integrated into the spirit. The result is a measured distillate, ready for those seeking intensity without weight.

On the palate it confirms the olfactory promise: an enveloping sip, full body and balanced structure, where roundness gives way to a discreet sapidity that enhances drinkability. Long, caressing finish, with returns of sweet spices and bitter cocoa that make it suitable for after-dinner pairing with dark chocolate or aged cheeses, but also as a solitary meditation in a warm, clean glass, slightly warm to bring out all the aromas.
