Pairing Fish, appetizers, Mediterranean dishes
Rapitala’s Grillo Sicilia DOC offers a direct, Mediterranean profile, with a balance that emphasizes freshness and sapidity. On the nose it opens with notes of ripe citrus and white flowers, accompanied by hints of aromatic herbs and a slight mineral nuance; all without excess, clean and coherent. The sip is lean yet present, supported by good acidity that gives vivacity and by a slightly saline texture that extends the finish. It’s an agile wine, designed for everyday drinking but with character.

On the palate it confirms a pleasant structure, with soft passages and a dry finish that invites a second glass. It pairs well with simple fish dishes, shellfish, seafood salads and fresh cheeses; it also works as an aperitif wine with a crisp profile. Ideal for convivial summer lunches, it also pairs easily with grilled vegetables and citrus-based dishes. Best served cold but not ice-cold, around 10–12 °C, to appreciate its clarity and aromatic profiles without overpowering them.
