In the glass it shows a complex, measured profile, typical of a well-structured vintage: aromas of ripe fruit, acacia honey and a light spiciness that recalls vanilla and sweet tobacco. On the palate it is rounded yet well supported by a soft tannic framework, with warm mid-palate volume and a progression that evolves toward deeper, discreet notes of leather and citrus peel. Balance and clarity make the drinking experience satisfying without excess. The finish is persistent, with a return of candied citrus and a slight bitter note that invites another taste.

Packaged in the classic wooden case, this 1987 Armagnac lends itself both to slow post-meal contemplation and to a more convivial use in small tasting glasses. It should be served at room temperature or slightly warmed, preferably in glasses that enhance its persistence; pairs well with dark chocolate, aged cheeses or simply a moment of sensory meditation. The wooden case protects the bottle and makes it an object of value for collectors or a tasteful gift. A bottle that expresses depth, length and a pleasing finesse.
