A Bas Armagnac VS like this presents a young, direct profile—immediately pleasant and unadorned. On the nose ripe fleshy fruits and delicate floral notes emerge, intertwined with light vanilla hints and a touch of sweet spice; the sip confirms a soft texture, warm but not heavy, with a slender body and barely perceptible tannins. The progression is quick and clean, with a persistence that leaves impressions of dried plum and orange peel on the palate, making it enjoyable both as a contemplative drink and as an aromatic base for mixed drinks.

It is well suited to be enjoyed neat in a tulip glass, with a few ice cubes if more sweetness is sought, or as a characterful element in classic cocktails. At the table it pairs simply and successfully with: dark chocolate, dried fruit, a hard cheese or cream-based desserts; it is also a fitting after-dinner companion for those who prefer a distillate with a frank, immediate style.
