The Lagrein grape, with black berries, gives this wine a harmonious structure and a typical color depth, with intense reflections ranging from ruby to violet.

The vinification involves controlled fermentation and aging in oak barrels, which gives the wine a velvety texture and spicy notes. Winery history

The property, mentioned in historical documents as early as 1242, is an ancient ansitz in the Santa Maddalena area. The Plattner family has managed the estate since the first half of the 20th century and, over time, transformed the historic residence into a small artisanal winery now led by Christian Plattner. Bottling on a modern scale began in the second half of the 20th century, and the estate has progressively developed a collection of wines focused on the local area.

Production philosophy
