The Lagrein Riserva Alto Adige DOC Frauenhugel by Cortaccia is the authentic expression of one of the most representative grape varieties of Alto Adige. Grown on the stony soils of the Frauenhugel hills, this wine is made from carefully selected grapes, capable of expressing great structure and complexity. After fermentation, the aging takes place in oak barrels, which impart an elegant balance between fruity freshness and spicy hints, with a smooth and enveloping tannic texture.

Visually, it presents an intense and deep red, while on the nose it opens with aromas of ripe wild berries, sweet spices, and light balsamic notes. The palate is powerful and harmonious, with a long finish that enhances its persistence. Ideal paired with robust dishes such as game, roasted meats, and aged cheeses, this Lagrein represents a tasting experience among the wine excellences of the Alto Adige region.
